Artist Statement:

“Is seeing believing? I wonder…through a series of ongoing events (life) I (and indeed others around me) have been involved in over recent times, I am forced to ask if seeing is really believing? As we slide through changes, as if down a slide with no hands (not that much control really) we are encouraged to use reason and open our eyes to see what is in front of us. I feel like taking a chance on chance, letting go of taking control and seeing what happens – letting things happen. This is a challenge – rejecting the idea of complete control over art / life. This work has to do with fear and trying to accept things I can’t control”
